These are things that you can do in our parish to stand up for Life:
- Get informed: The National Right to Life Committee has an excellent website at http://www.nrlc.org . Information and education are the keys to this cause.
- Stand and Pray with fellow parishioners any Tuesday from 8 AM-noon outside of the abortion facility located at 1401 E. Stroop Rd. in Kettering.
- St. Anthony has a prison ministry which visits inmates regularly to give information about God’s love for them which may help them turn their lives around.
- St. Vincent dePaul oversees a Food Pantry at St. Anthony where clients are given food staples once a month. It is supported by donations of non-perishable items as well as through monetary donations.
- In addition, parishioners provide the food for a meal at the homeless shelter once a month on the last Tuesday. The recipes and pans are provided in the back of church after Mass.
