STEWARDSHIP

God willed creation as a gift addressed to men and women, an inheritance destined for and entrusted to them.
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, #299)

Dear Friend in Christ:

Welcome to St. Anthony Parish. We hope that your involvement at St. Anthony will enrich your life as it has ours.  Our pastor, Fr. Chris Coleman, invites you to think about your commitment to support St. Anthony in the spirit of Christian stewardship. That spirit is rooted in our faith-filled belief that all we have – and all we are – has been entrusted to us as a gift from God: our time, our talents, our wealth, our very lives. Stewardship is our response to the blessings that God has entrusted to us, and is our participation in God’s act of creation.

We hope that you already enjoy this participation through your worship with the St. Anthony community. Your commitment to supporting St. Anthony, in time, talent and treasure, helps sustain the faith of us all. It is a powerful response to God’s call to us to be stewards of the church.

We invite you to prayerfully reflect on the gift of treasure that you are able to share with St. Anthony. The quality of our liturgies, parish programs, ministries, facilities and outreach to the needy is determined by the support we receive from you.

There are several ways to give:

While your generosity is deeply appreciated in any amount and at any time, a planned giving schedule greatly enhances our parish’s ability to budget its programs and prepare for the future. Like the act of creation that it reflects, stewardship is most effective when it follows a plan.

If you would like to discuss your planned giving options, please contact Denise Young at 937-253-9132 x 117.

Sincerely,

Denise Young,  Accountant
